Associate Professor Chibuzo Christian Ohagwa, Ph.D., MBA, B.Sc. is a distinguished academic, researcher, and higher education administrator specializing in Human Resource Management at Peaceland University, Nigeria. With extensive experience in teaching, research, postgraduate supervision, curriculum development, and academic administration, he is committed to advancing excellence in higher education through innovative scholarship, quality teaching, and institutional leadership.
His research interests include Strategic Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Leadership and Governance, Industrial Relations, Employee Performance Management, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Human Capital Development, Research Methods, and Sustainable Workforce Development. His work focuses on promoting evidence-based management practices, organizational effectiveness, ethical leadership, and sustainable development, particularly within emerging economies.
Associate Professor Ohagwa has supervised over 89 undergraduate research projects, as well as numerous MBA, M.Sc., and Ph.D. dissertations and theses. He has authored and co-authored books, book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, technical reports, and conference papers, making significant contributions to the advancement of Human Resource Management scholarship.
He holds a Ph.D. and MBA in Human Resource Management from Prowess University, United States, and a B.Sc. in Business Administration. He is a Professional Fellow and active member of several leading professional organizations, including the Chartered Institute of Personnel Management of Nigeria (CIPM), Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), Australian HR Institute (AHRI), Institute of Human Resource Management (IHRM), and the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM).
