Associate Professor Chibuzo Christian Ohagwa, Ph.D., MBA, B.Sc. is a distinguished Nigerian academic, researcher, and higher education administrator specializing in Human Resource Management. He currently serves as an Associate Professor of Human Resource Management at Peaceland University, Nigeria, where he has established himself as a dedicated educator, prolific scholar, and mentor committed to advancing teachings, research, and institutional development.

He earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Human Resource Management and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in Human Resource Management from Prowess University, United States, following his Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Business Administration. His academic background has provided a strong foundation for his contributions to human resource scholarship, organizational development, and higher education.

With extensive experience in university teaching, postgraduate supervision, curriculum development, and academic administration, Associate Professor Ohagwa has successfully supervised over 89 undergraduate research projects, in addition to numerous MBA, M.Sc., and Ph.D. dissertations and theses. He has consistently demonstrated excellence in mentoring students and fostering research that addresses contemporary organizational and societal challenges.

His research focuses on Strategic Human Resource Management, Organizational Behaviour, Leadership and Governance, Industrial Relations, Employee Performance Management, Employee Relations, Talent Management, Human Capital Development, Research Methods, and Sustainable Workforce Development. His scholarly work explores how effective human resource strategies contribute to organizational performance, institutional sustainability, and socio-economic development, particularly within emerging economies.

A prolific researcher and author, Associate Professor Ohagwa has published numerous books, book chapters, peer-reviewed journal articles, technical reports, and conference papers in reputable national and international outlets. He has also presented scholarly papers at several national and international conferences and actively participates in interdisciplinary and collaborative research that advances knowledge in human resource management and organizational leadership.

Beyond research and teaching, Associate Professor Ohagwa has made significant contributions to university governance through active service on departmental, faculty, and institutional committees.
